Blouin Division is delighted to announce the opening of a major group exhibition titled Quarante.

Conceptualized during the quarantine last March, this exhibition will feature the work of forty artists currently active in Montreal. Its selection of artists was achieved through a consultation with Visual Arts professionals and amateurs who gravitate around the network of Montreal galleries. The exhibition occupies the whole second floor of l’Arsenal and it unfolds through unexpected and intriguing juxtapositions. It aims at celebrating the vitality and creativity of the Visual Arts community in Montreal.

This important exhibition would not have possible without the exceptional collaboration of several galleries. At a time when solidarity and cooperation are all-important, the following galleries have generously collaborated to this adventure: Galerie 3, Galeries Bellemare Lambert, Galerie Simon Blais, Galerie Bradley Ertaskiran, ELLEPHANT, Galerie Laroche/Joncas, Art Mûr, Pierre-François Ouellette art contemporain and Catriona Jeffries.

Depending on government measures, the exhibition will continue through February 2021. The gallery will be open by appointment from 10 am to 6 pm, Tuesdays to Fridays and from 10 am to 5pm on Saturdays.

Blouin Division wishes to express its gratitude to the all the artists and galleries that supported this project through important loans.

Blouin Division Gallery is very pleased to announce the major exhibition titled Quarante. Bringing together works by forty artists, this event aims to celebrate the liveliness of visual arts in Montreal. Conceived last spring in the first days of confinement, this exhibition was developed from a consultation with professionals and contemporary art enthusiasts who frequent the circuit of Montreal galleries. Its presentation takes up the entire second floor of Arsenal and the exhibition unfolds in unexpected juxtapositions, even at times intriguing, but always full of poetry.
